We are looking for dynamic individuals with experience in sales (desk based and or field).  To be successful, you will have experience interfacing with B2B and consumers and a natural ability to engage with clients.  A natural self-starter, commercially astute and able to demonstrate long term relationship building with clients. Role shared between being office based and field sales.

 

The job role

 

Mapping:

  • Map/locate opportunities by geographical area (consider all contributing factors)
  • Virtual and physical processes (by foot, google, phone, email)
  • Work with local store managers to build and continually review pipelines

 

Sales: Full Spectrum

  • Prospecting: Identifying sales targets at all levels (chains through to independents)
  • Approaching 
  • Presenting
  • Closing
  • On-boarding

 

Partnerships:

  • Research local landscape in order to carve out mutually beneficial relationships with local institutions, organisations, business groups etc. Create inbound lead structure

 

Admin:

  • Create a database of prospects, opportunities and clients per area that is regularly updated
  • Use learnings to adapt operating process accordingly across all areas

 

Marketing:

  • Work with marketing team to create relevant and effective collateral for use to include both on and offline. Devise fresh ways to reach out to market. 

 

Experience/Knowledge/Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years in a sales role (proven track record)
  • Confident, articulate, presentable, personable and persuasive
  • Field sales experience
  • Desk based sales experience (excellent phone manner)
  • Hunter mentality (experience in prospecting; lead generation, cold calling – not providing warm/inbound leads)
  • Experience of working towards a set target successfully
